Installation Source is a family-owned business, established by the McMahan family over 80 years ago.
Our story began in the 1920’s in Oklahoma as a McMahan-family business working with seating.

In the years that followed, this grew into several iterations of seating-centric businesses. As these entities evolved, the family developed a deep knowledge base of seating mechanics for many types of seating systems. In fact, the McMahan family has collectively installed, reupholstered, repaired and serviced most of the seating types used for the past 80+ years.

In 2015, the McMahan family established the Installation Source, the culmination of their family’s many years of seating experience. Headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, Installation Source provides seating expertise nation-wide and remains family owned and operated.
